The candy corn activities for rhyme, letters/sounds and vocabulary have been such a hit that I’ve had numerous requests to create the activity for math. Assembling the activity is super simple. Just print, laminate and cut the candy corns along the dotted line. You can easily differentiate this activity by choosing which and how many candy corn pieces to use.
Some of my clever teacher friends added a self-checking feature. Before they placed the activity through the laminating machine, they put three matching stickers on each of the candy corn pieces for each number. After the students have created a candy corn with the numeral, 10-frame and word, they they just turn the pieces over to see if the stickers match. This makes the activity ideal for independent centers.
The Candy Corn Number activity can be found in my online Teachers Pay Teachers store or through the Make, Take & Teach website.
