Alphabet Matching Games
My fabulous artist, Kyle, created these super adorable penguins. I absolutely LOVE them! They are perfect for creating winter learning activities for our little ones. These alphabet matching games and beginning sounds learning activities are perfect for independent centers. The penguin activities are sure to be fun for your kiddos learning the alphabet.
Penguin Beginning Sounds Game
One of my favorite penguin themed activities is the alphabet match game. With this activity choose which letters you’d wish to use and the corresponding beginning sounds pictures. Have your students place the pictures on the correct template. Once done, have them turn over the pictures and if the letters on the back of the cards match, they were correct.
The Penguin Alphabet activity can be found in my online Teachers Pay Teachers store.
Penguin Alphabet Match
The self-checking feature of the Penguin Match alphabet activity for the alphabet makes it perfect for independent centers. The student simply match the beginning sound of the picture to the letter on the penguin. They then turn the card over and if the letters match, the response is correct.
The Penguin Match activity for the Alphabet can also be found in my TpT store.
