My fabulous artist, Kyle, designed these super cute apples and worms. I just L.O.V.E. them! They were perfect for creating a word sliding activity for learning and practicing CVC words. Although this activity can be used all year long, it’s ideal for fall-themed centers!
When you download this activity you’ll receive 5 apples (one for each vowel, of course) and 65 cute little worms. The worms are coded per vowel for the sake of organization.
The Apple CVC Word Sliders can be downloaded from my online Teachers Pay Teachers store.
Another one of my favorite kindergarten and first grade fall-themed center activities is the Apple Orchard for Beginning Sounds activity. You can easily differentiate this activity by choosing the number of apple orchards to use during instruction. There are 132 colorful apples!
The Apple Orchard for Beginning Sounds activity can also be found in my TpT store.
The Alphabet Apple Game is one of the newest activities in our fall-themed line of activities. There are 5 different activities (that’s 15 different game boards) each targeting 4 letters and sounds. There are a few different ways to assemble your spinner. I use spinners in quite a few activities so I purchase the pieces from Game Board Designs. You could also use a pencil and a paperclip as a spinner too.
The Alphabet Apple Game is available in my TpT store too!
Enjoy and have a great start to your year!
