I just love file folder activities. Once laminated, they last for years and years. They are so simple to store and all the materials are just right there! You’re not quite able to see it in these pictures, but I like to place a Velcro dot on the file folder above each basket and then on each apple and then store the apples in a baggie which I attach at the corner of the folder using a brass clasp.
I created two different apple themed activities just for fall. The first activity focuses on the skill of rhyme. When you download this file you will receive the templates and corresponding apples to create four differentiated rhyming file folder activities. Two file folders have your students discriminating 6 rhyming pairs and two 9 rhyming pairs. Simple glue the templates on the folder, laminate and cut your apples! You’ll be all set to use the activities.
The File Folder Apple Rhyme Match activity is available through my online Teachers Pay Teachers store or through the Make, Take & Teach website.
When you download the file folder activity for learning and practicing the alphabet you will receive 8 templates. Six templates have your students sorting six beginning sound apples and two templates for sorting nine apples.
The File Folder Apple Match Activity for Beginning Sounds is also available through my TpT store or through the Make, Take & Teach website.
Happy Fall!
