My little friend, Emmett, just loves these winter themed file folder number activities. Well, when you add Play Doh into any activity, it’s sure to be a hit! With just a little bit of assembly, these file folders will last for years and years! Simply glue the templates on a file folder and laminate.
When you download this file you will receive templates to create file folders for the numbers 1-20. There are 7 different activities within each folder to address the skills of number order, number formation, number identification and number concept.
For the file folder activities you’ll need a dry erase marker and Play Doh. I really like making my own as I can make the quantity I need and it is often softer. For the winter themed file folders I chose to make both white (for building the snowman) and blue adding a little bit of white glitter to give it a seasonal touch. I’ve include the recipe in the download.
The Winter Themed File Folder Activity for Early Numeracy is available through my online Teachers Pay Teachers store or on the Make, Take & Teach website.
Just watching Emmett learn numbers with these activities warms my heart. I’m thinking he may enjoy a few Valentine’s Day themed file folder activities.
