Ice fishing is a popular sport in Northern Michigan. Many of our kiddos often take to the ice during the weekends with their parents in hopes of catching that one big fish! I realize the sport isn’t for everyone- it’s a little too chilly for my liking, but for those who enjoy fishing, it’s a way to get outdoors during the winter months. So for my little fish loving friends – here’s an activity just for you!
When you download this activity you will receive the templates for creating 12 file folder activities. Each activity contains templates for sorting two sounds with 10 colorful fish with beginning sound pictures. That would be over 100 colorful pictures for sorting! To assemble the activities first glue the templates on file folders and laminate. Then laminate the fish and cut the fish along the dotted line. That’s it- easy peasy. You’ll have activities that will last for years. I like to use Velcro for the activities, but that is totally optional.
The Ice Fishing Alphabet activity can be found online in my Teachers Pay Teachers store.
