These mitten match activities have certainly been a hit during winter themed centers. Whether it’s working with early numeracy concepts, rhyme or letters and sounds, our little kindergarten and first grade friends just love the hands-on component of this activity! Of course you don’t really need to use clothespins to match the mittens, but it adds a little twist on the activity and incorporates a fine motor component as well.
The Mitten Match activity contains two activities- one for 10 frame to number match and the other number to word match. The mittens have been color coordinated per activity.
The Mitten Match for Early Numeracy can be found in my Teachers Pay Teachers store or in the Make, Take & Teach website.
The Mitten Match for Rhyme contains 30 rhyming mitten pairs. You can easily differentiate this activity by choosing which and how many mittens to use.
The Mitten Match for Rhyme is also available in my online TpT store or in the Make, Take & Teach website.
The Mitten Match for Beginning Sounds is a fun way for students to learn the letters and sounds of the alphabet!
The Mitten Match Beginning Sounds activity can be found in my TpT store or in the Make, Take & Teach website too!
