A few weeks ago Kyle, my fabulous artist, revised these adorable little bears so that we can create a few Valentine’s Day themed activities for practicing the letters and sounds of the alphabet and rhyme. The self-checking feature of these activities make them perfect for independent centers!
When you download this activity you will receive 13 rhyming bears and 46 corresponding pictures. For sure you’ll want to differentiate this activity by choosing which and how many rhyming bears to use. Simply place the bears and pictures on the table and have the students put the pictures on the correct bear. After all the pictures are in place, have the students turn over the pictures and it they match, their answers are correct.
The Valentine Bear Rhyme Match is available in my Teachers Pay Teachers store or in my Make, Take & Teach store.
Well, we just couldn’t create an activity for rhyme so we added a similar activity for letters and sounds. Again, you’ll want to be sure to differentiate the activity by choosing which and how many bears to use. When you download this activity you’ll received 25 alphabet bears and over 100 colorful pictures!
The self-checking feature works the same as with the rhyme activity. Simply have the students place the pictures on the correct bear and then turn over the pictures to see if the upper- and lowercase letters match.
The Valentine Bear Alphabet Match activity is also available in my TpT store or on the Make, Take & Teach website.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
