I’ve have to say that the Write-It Phonics Cards are my favorite activities for practicing targeted phonics skills. Once they are all assembled it’s so easy to just pull them out and have the students practice the phonics skill by writing the correct letter(s). Simply print the cards, cut along the dotted line and bind the cards together with a loose leaf ring. All you’ll need then is a dry erase marker. After writing the letter(s) just wipe the cards clean and they can be used over and over again. These activities are great for small group instruction or as an independent activity for your centers.
