Halloween Math Activities Freebie!
I was out shopping last week and popped into JoAnn Fabrics. I found these super adorable spider buttons. LOVE THEM! So, I created a few Halloween Math Activities with this guy.
spider math Addition facts game
Just for my first-grade friends, I thought I’d make a spider addition activity for practicing addition.
Supplies Needed:
- dice
- dry erase marker
- dry erase pocket or laminate
- plastic spiders or other manipulatives
First, you’ll need to laminate the template or place it in a dry erase pocket. If you can find the plastic spiders, that’s great, but if not there are other Halloween themed manipulatives that would work just as well.
How to Play:
Have the student roll the die and then write the number in the square and count that number of spiders placing them on the web.
After rolling a second time, writing the number and placing the spiders, the student can then add the two numbers! Just a fun seasonal activity for practicing addition.
Feel free to download the template. Enjoy!
